Assistive Technology Services
SEMO-TECH Assistive Technology Program and Showroom is located within the SADI office complex. This program offers equipment evaluations, equipment loan and demonstration of adaptive devices.
Community Work Incentive Program
Formerly called Benefits Planning Assistance & Outreach. The Community Work Incentive Program provides clients with information regarding Social Security benefits and work programs.
Client Assistance Services
Client Assistance Services provides financial assistance to people with disabilities for low cost assistive devices.
Consumer Directed Services
Consumer Directed Services requires consumers to take an active role in directing their own personal care. Individuals hire their own attendant(s) of choice, which can even be a family member. Individuals also schedule their attendant(s) hours and manage timesheets. Consumers receive personal care through this program, which may include transportation for shopping and medical appointments.
In-Home Services
In-home services provide clients with qualified aide(s) to assist them with their daily living needs. These services include basic personal care, homemaker care, chore services, advanced personal care, and respite. This program may also provide authorized nurse visits.
Transportation Services
Any person with a disability living in the city of Cape Girardeau needing transportation may participate by becoming a registered rider of SADI.
